Job Description We are seeking an Intervention Specialist - moderate to intensive - to design and implement individualized programs for children with autism and other developmental disabilities. You will create and maintain records of progress and collaborate with parents. With the help of a Teacher's Assistant and Lead Teacher's in the classroom, the Intervention Specialist would be responsible for all parts of the IEP process, including- transition based assessments, developing of goals and objectives, running IEP meetings, etc. Staff would also be responsible for implementing IEP goals into the general curriculum, as well as providing accommodations and modifications to students as appropriate.
