Job Description Anticipated Middle School Math Teacher Description: Middle school math teachers are responsible for utilizing research-based pedagogical strategies to teach and engage diverse groups of middle school students. Middle school teachers must collaborate with their school-based team, fellow math teachers, and the K-8 Director of STEM and Math Instructional Coach throughout the year to continually improve the experience and performance of our students. Teachers should be well-versed in Massachusetts Middle School Math Standards, Sheltered English Instruction (SEI) practices, and Universal Design to ensure access to content for all students. Teachers must exercise culturally responsive practices to promote equity and respect for all students.
