Job Description SUMMARY: Responsible for providing assistance to the Principal in the administration of the total school program. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: •Demonstrates sound judgement and emotional stability. •Maintains a positive attitude and works well with others. •Ensures the safety of students. •Interacts with staff, students and the community in a positive and respectful manner. •Implements District and building policies and guidelines. •Assists with building supervision. •Assists with building discipline. •Supervises activities/events. •Assists with staff supervision, hiring and evaluation. •Assists with budgetary matters. •Assists with staff development. •Assists with instructional leadership, as appropriate. •Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
