Job Description Title Code: Technician: Early Childhood Special Education JOB SUMMARY Assists in the implementation of lesson plans including educational and behavioral strategies for students relating to their disability. Provides special education services and behavioral support to students and teachers as part of the Individual Educational Programs (IEP) team. Travels to homes or between schools working with children, the teachers, and their caregivers in specific instructional and behavioral strategies. Work assignments are performed with a view toward maintaining students in the least restrictive environment. The position may be 10 or 12 months depending on assignment.
