Job Description Note: MUST HAVE READING SPECIALIST ENDORSEMENT Job Summary To assist in providing the kind of instruction and learning environment that will enable students to master the reading skills appropriate to age, grade level, and individual capacity. Essential Duties Provides leadership and service in the diagnosis of reading problems and development of prescriptive remediation. Maintains an inventory of specialize materials for testing and remediation. Assist teachers and parents in understanding the nature of students' reading problems and nature of remediation. Coordinates an effective reading program with classroom teachers in grade levels K-4.
