Job Description ESL Instructor Kent ISD Adult Education, Kentwood Campus Part Time, 115 days per year, 4 hours per day Evenings: M-W 5pm-9pm $37.13-$42.99 per hour Not benefits eligible The Adult Education ESL Instructor helps adult learners become proficient of reading and listening in the English language. QUALIFICATIONS: A valid and current Michigan teaching certificate is required; an ESL endorsement is preferred. Demonstrated ability to effectively work with students, families, staff, and other stakeholders from diverse backgrounds. Strong communication/interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, staff, community partners, etc. in a courteous and cooperative manner. Bilingual abilities preferred.
