Job Description Behavior Interventionist 20262027 SCHOOL YEAR POSITION: Behavior Interventionist REPORTS TO: School Principal (building) / Behavior Specialist (district) QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field preferred Minimum two (2) years of documented experience working directly with children in a behavioral intervention, special education paraprofessional, or youth support capacity Demonstrated knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles, Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), or equivalent behavioral frameworks Experience with de-escalation techniques and trauma-informed practices Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with students, families, and staff Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive student information with professionalism Preferred Qualifications:...
