Job Description Employment Opportunity Butler County Educational Service Center May 20, 2026 POSITION: Audiologist - Part Time STARTING DATE: August 2026 SALARY: Based on the approved Governing Board Salary Schedule WORK YEAR: Part Time DEADLINE: Until Filled GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Audiologist's primary responsibilities are to identify, assess, and provide hearing services to eligible children, including determination of range, nature, and degree of hearing loss as well as referral for medical or other professional attention for the habilitation of hearing. The Audiologist should provide habilitative activities, such as language habilitation, auditory training, speech-reading, hearing evaluation and speech conservation. The Audiologist should administer programs to both prevent further hearing loss, as well as counsel children, parents and teachers regarding hearing loss.
