Job Description Responsible To: Principal Primary Responsibility: To contribute to the goals and objectives of the School by providing a quality educational program for students with special needs enrolled in the School Program. Scope of Responsibilities: • Develops and implements a classroom educational program which addresses the individual goals and objectives documented in students' Individual Educational Plan. • Utilizes educational strategies consistent with the school's curriculum. • Coordinates services with the child's family, therapists and sending district as appropriate. • Provides an educational screening for children referred to the school as requested. • Directly oversees all Classroom Aides assigned to the classroom. • Writes and carries out weekly lesson plans. • Attends all meetings, conferences and home visits pertaining to classroom students and acts as team...
