Job Description JOB TITLE: Transportation Operations Assistant SUPERVISOR: Director of Transportation WORK SCHEDULE: Part-time, approximately 3.5 hrs/day, 9 months (school year) Position Summary Under the direction of the Director of Transportation, the Transportation Operations Assistant supports the daily operation of the district's pupil transportation program. This position is responsible for planning and maintaining bus routes, securing substitute driver coverage for routes and trips, monitoring routing, GPS, and camera systems, reporting school bus stop-arm and traffic violations to the appropriate law enforcement authorities, assisting with the training of bus drivers, and performing other transportation-related duties as assigned.
