Job Description POSITION PURPOSE: As a school nurse assistant, you accomplish administrative and simple medical responsibilities under the direction of a licensed school nurse. Keeping records of each student who visits the nurse's office under the nurse direction. Your main job is assisting the nurse with whatever she needs help with. You must follow their directive. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Send out nurse related emails only as directed. Respond to parent or staff emails only if medical advice is not needed. Forward to nurse if medical advice is requested. You are a member of the Emergency Team Carry out assigned duties appropriately. Red folders: confirmed each student has a Red Folder after downloading a roster from Power School by grade.
