Job Description POSITION PURPOSE: Beaufort County School District seeks certified persons to serve as tutors. To provide intensive and extensive tutorial services for identified students to develop successful academic skills. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provides academic assistance to assigned students, either in a group setting or one-on-one, as directed by the classroom teacher. Collaborates with the classroom teacher to assess selected students and develop effective methods of tutorial service delivery. Maintains records on each tutored student, including follow-up and periodic evaluation of progress.
