Job Description POSITION PURPOSE: Provides speech screenings to children. Refers children and their parents to community agencies and professionals as appropriate. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Performs speech screenings for children ages 2.5 -5.11 years Assists in the coordination of Child Find and referral process Works with community agencies to provide services/programs to meet needs of children inside/outside of the school environment. Cooperates with school personnel in identifying and meeting social, emotional, and physical needs of children. Compiles data and prepares various reports and records required by the school, district, and/or other agencies. ADDITIONAL DUTIES: Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Director of School Readiness, Chief Instructional Services Officer, Superintendent or other district office administrator as designated by the Superintendent.
