Job Description The Emily G. Wetherbee School is seeking an 6th grade ELA teacher responsible for teaching four core ELA classes and an intervention class and managing a sixth grade homeroom. Proficiency in the Massachusetts State Standards is preferred. The ideal candidate possesses a belief that all students are capable of learning. Experience with co-teaching and inclusion practices, including collaborative planning, are recommended. Job Description The Interventionist is responsible for providing targeted support to students in ELA and/or Math across grade levels, leading data-driven instruction, and contributing to the school's Response to Intervention and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (RTII and MTSS) processes. This role requires a dynamic individual who can analyze student performance data, collaborate with teachers and staff, and implement effective interventions to support student growth.
