Job Description Position Title: 0.25 FTE High School American Sign Language (ASL) Teacher FLSA: Exempt Reports to: Building Principal and/or Department Head Terms of Employment: Salary in accordance with the LEA Unit A collective bargaining agreement. August 31, 2026 start date. Position Responsibilities: Meets and instructs grade 11-12 students in American Sign Language during assigned class time and in the locations and at designated times. Plans a program of study that, as much as possible, meets the individual needs, interests and abilities of the students. Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students.
