Job Description 192 days a year following the school calendar, 5 hours a day JOB ANALYSIS The Assistant Cook helps ensure the cook's responsibilities can be met in a timely manner. This person follows school, state, and federal policies, and procedures to assure funding is maintained and problems are avoided. REPORTS TO Kitchen Manager or Supervisor ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (The following are illustrative of the responsibilities associated with this position and are not intended to be all-inclusive.) Responsible for aiding in preparing all foods according to established menus, standard recipes and portions in appropriate quantities at the direction of the Kitchen Manager.
