Job Description Position: Cross-Categorical teacher (up to 2 positions) - K-6 Reports to the building Principal and Director of Pupil Services Qualifications: Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist Teaching licensure Preferred Requirements: Training or experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), trained in CPI strategies & experience working with students with various complex disabilities. Duties: 1.Meets and instructs assigned classes in the locations and at the times designated. 2.Plans a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of the students. 3.Works collaboratively in creating and sustaining an integrated classroom to provide services to students. 4.Creates an environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students. 5.Plans for classes assigned, and shows written evidence of preparation upon request of immediate supervisor. 6.Maintains accurate, complete, and correct records...
