Job Description POSITION TITLE: AU Mentor/ Aide START DATE: January 6, 2026 IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Building Administrator FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt EMPLOYMENT TERM: 200 days annually SALARY: $26,530 - $42,290 Salary will be determined by using the Berkeley County Schools Service Personnel Salary Scale based on level of education and years of experience plus competitive benefits package equal to approximately 35% of direct compensation. JOB TYPE DESCRIPTION: A vacancy exists for an AU Mentor/ Aide. Applicant's primary duties will be with AU Students. SUMMARY : Assist teachers in the classroom with daily instructional and non-instructional activities. The successful applicant will provide support and assistance in the areas of behavior management, communication, daily living, self-help, academic, career/vocational and recreation/leisure skills.
