Job Description Classification Title: Behavior Technician Department: Elementary Pay Grade: Classified Salary Scale (C2) FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Supervisor: Principal, Behavior Interventionist, or Board Certified Behavior Analyst GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB The Elementary Behavior Technician provides proactive, preventative behavioral and social-emotional support to elementary students in general education settings. Under the supervision of the Behavior Interventionist (BI) and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and in collaboration with school administrators, teachers, and counselors, the Technician delivers direct behavior-analytic services, including implementation of Behavior Support Plans (BSP), data collection, and Tier 1 and Tier 2 interventions designed to improve student behavior, emotional regulation skills, and access to instruction.
