Job Description GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB The individual in this position is responsible for the preparation and service of school meals and sanitation of the meal preparation and service areas. This is a part-time position and works up to 181 days per year, coinciding with the school instructional calendar. **The individual in this position will begin employment as a long-term substitute with intent to hire upon completion of a minimum 90 day probationary period. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Essential Functions: Prepares and serves meats, breads, vegetables, and other food in accordance with the menu. Prepares and serves fruits, desserts, salads, soups, and other foods. May be assigned to one specific food preparation area or rotated through the full range of food services.
