Job Description JOB TITLE: School Nutrition Assistant Manager IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: School Nutrition Manager GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The position is responsible for assisting the school nutrition manager in the coordination, supervision and management of the school nutrition program and operation. The position works 181 days per year, coinciding with the school instructional calendar. Position is scheduled to work 6 hours per day with benefits. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Assumes responsibility for the operations of the school nutrition program in the absence of the manager. Assists in regular inventories of food & supplies, and helps with orders for food and supplies, oversees maintenance of production records and completes financial records as required by the director.
