Job Description • Arrives prepared to start working on time. Follows established sign in/out procedures. • Complies with program and/or building work hours/schedules. • Performs clinic duties that support the effective delivery of school health services. • Maintains an orderly health clinic (e.g., sanitizes/stores equipment, stock supplies, etc.) • Assists with year-end inventory records as directed • Collects and maintains student health records (e.g., immunization status, medical histories, etc.) • Maintains an effective records management system. Files and retrieves information • Maintains parent consent forms (e.g., administration of medications, emergency treatment, etc.). • Assists with the security of stored medicine. Compares consent forms with medications to identify discrepancies. Administers student medications under the supervision of the school nurse.
