Job Description SCOPE: Plan, direct and supervise accounting work managing the Property Account of the School Board to ensure compliance with established laws and with accepted accounting and financial procedures and policies. Perform and support professional accounting work in the Finance operations of the School Board. •This role manages property accounting operations, supervises a small team responsible for annual inventories and asset recordkeeping, ensures compliance with state laws and Board policies, and maintains accurate records for asset acquisitions, transfers, disposals, and depreciation. • This position additionally supports year end capital asset reporting and contributes to the Annual Financial Report and the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report.
