Job Description Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - 2 positions 26-27 School Year 188 Contract Days Location: Cardinal Autism Resource Educational School (CARES) with Mentor Public Schools Hours: 8:00 am - 3:30 pm Experience working directly with students on the autism spectrum, including students with complex communication needs Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems and programs, including high-tech and low-tech communication supports Familiarity with a variety of AAC platforms and applications such as Proloquo2Go, TouchChat, LAMP Words for Life, TD Snap, PECS, and other communication systems Strong understanding of evidence-based practices and innovative instructional strategies for supporting autistic students in educational environments Ability to develop individualized communication systems and sensory-supportive strategies that promote student independence and functional communication...
