Job Description TEACHER LEADER INTERNAL ONLY: Required: Appropriate content level endorsement on teaching certificate Each Teacher Leader will be compensated per the contractual Teacher Leader 2 scale 1. Curriculum leadership: - Plan & deliver professional development in consultation with the Instruction Area Specialist and Principals - Communicate regularly with the Instruction Area Specialist and Principals regarding curriculum related issues and provide input (e.g. assessment results, school improvement goals and strategies, curriculum stands/expectations, common assessments, etc.) - Work with appropriate content area teachers on the writing of curriculum and selection of materials in consultation with the Instruction Area Specialist when needed.
