Job Description JOB SUMMARY: Under general supervision, a teacher will plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program in an elementary or secondary learning environment that guides, and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic goals by creating a classroom environment that is conducive to learning, and appropriate to the maturity and interest of students.

Job Description The High School Mathematics Teacher will design and implement standards-based lessons, utilize data to inform instructional decisions, and differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students. Candidates should demonstrate strong classroom management skills, effective communication with students and families, and a commitment to continuous professional growth. Responsibilities include planning and delivering daily instruction, assessing student progress, integrating appropriate technology into instruction, and collaborating with colleagues to support school and district initiatives. The ideal candidate will contribute to a positive school culture while maintaining high expectations for student achievement and engagement. Applicants must hold or be eligible to obtain a North Carolina teaching license in Secondary Mathematics.
