Job Description JOB SUMMARY: Under limited supervision, the School Nurse Supervisor provides leadership and oversight of school nurses under his/her assignment. This position ensures that his/her assigned school staff members follow internal policies and procedures and external statutes and laws.

Job Description The nurse assesses, plans, and evaluates health disorders among students and provides instruction in maintaining good health and disease prevention. The nurse must evaluate the physical conditions of students and staff and refer them to appropriate resources as needed. Decisions made by the nurse require discretionary judgment and analysis.
