Job Description TITLE Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum & Instruction DESCRIPTION The assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction is a district leadership position reporting directly to the superintendent of schools. The assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction will provide leadership and vision in ongoing planning, implementation, development, direction, review and evaluation of the district's curriculum and instructional services. The assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction ensures that the district's and component schools' educational objectives are aligned to state standards and to instructional practices that produce improved student achievement and instructional excellence.
