Job Description Overview: The Dean of Students gives leadership to and is responsible for situations related to student discipline and student attendance, providing a climate in the school that is conducive to learning. The Dean of Students reports directly to the Principal and Assistant Principal and works in cooperation with other administrators who comprise the district Leadership Team. Key Responsibilities: Establish, regularly review, and enforce procedures regulating student behavior in the school that are consistent with the Secondary Student Handbook and with other Board policies.
