Job Description Cafeteria Utility Worker Temporary Position (6.5 hrs/day $18.72-19.29/hr) Internal GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Provides support in a school district that serves meals and ala carte foods to children and adults in accordance with federal regulations. The cafeteria utility worker works under the direction of the Cook/Manager, Assistant Cook/Manager or the Receiving Kitchen Supervisor depending on site assignment and under the general direction of the Director of Food Services. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides support with light food preparation in preparing and serving meals to an assigned site. Light food preparation includes but is not limited to: washing and cutting fruits and vegetables, opening cans, filling portion controlled cups, placing foods in serving wells, opening and closing ovens and removing foods from ovens and warmers.
