Job Description Description: 2023-2024 School Secretary Job Summary: The school secretary position is one that is associated with the day to day operations of the school. This person, under limited direction, performs a variety of clerical, secretarial, and other administrative functions required for the operation of the school site. This person is the keeper of confidential information, responsible for record keeping/data management, document preparation, and support of the principal. This person is the "face" of the school and is usually the first contact with visitors for registerting students. Must be able to direct phone calls and visitors to the correct person(s).
