Job Description (10 Month Position - Funded By Federal Title I/IV Funds) The Academic Interventionist is responsible for providing researched based interventions to identified students. Implements scientific- based research strategies to enable students to develop the competencies and skills to be successful students. Provides individual and group instruction designed to meet individual needs and motivate students. Establishes and maintains standards of pupil behavior required to achieve effective participation in all activities. Uses identified needs to guide the learning process toward student achievement of the school's math/reading content standards. Establishes clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects using formal and informal assessment data obtained from students.
