Job Description The Pawtucket School Department is seeking a High School Specialized 9-10 educator. EXEMPLARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: •Provide specialized and individualized instruction for students with disabilities, consistent state education requirements and the students IEP. •Positive professional and respectful conduct when communicating with professionals, students and parents. •On-going documentation of student progress, lesson planning and communication with both parents and professionals •Participate in developing schedules for assigned caseload of students to insure that all services required in the student's IEP are accessed. •Development of IEPs for students in accordance with the IDEA, based on student evaluation results and student individualized need. •Serve as a leader of the IEP team for assigned student caseload. •Attendance and participation in Common Planning meetings with other members of the faculty. •Communicates effectively with the school...
