Job Description St. Malachy, an Independence Mission School, is seeking candidates for a Reading Interventionalist position. The Reading Interventionist provides targeted, research-based literacy instruction to students who are reading below grade level. Working closely with classroom teachers, specialists, and school leadership, the interventionist assesses student reading abilities, designs individualized or small-group intervention plans, and monitors progress to ensure academic growth. This role is critical in supporting early literacy development, closing reading achievement gaps, and helping all students build the foundational skills necessary for long-term academic success.
