Job Description TITLE: Speech-Language Pathologist - Multiple Openings District Wide POSITION OVERVIEW: Portland Public Schools is seeking licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide speech and language services for K-12 students at schools within the Portland Public School District. The SLP will join a passionate, multidisciplinary team of teachers, ed-techs, social workers, occupational therapists and physical therapists. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Assesses all areas of speech and language development, using a variety of tools and data collection methods Completes required evaluation reports and IEPs for all students on their assigned caseload Cites data for all discussions of student progress, such as in present levels, IEP goals, or evaluation reports Delivers direct instruction to all students on their assigned caseload, grouping students to the extent appropriate; provides consultation as required by student IEPs Provides case management for...
