Job Description TITLE: Special Education Ed Tech III - Longfellow Elementary POSITION OVERVIEW: Portland Public Schools seeks a full-time Ed Tech to support small groups of K-2 students and teachers in push-in and pull-out classrooms at Longfellow Elementary School. Under the direction of the Principal and Special Education Teacher, the Ed Tech assists teachers by supporting student learning and well being. Duties involve working with students individually and in small groups engaging in learning, assessing performance, reinforcing instruction, assisting with classroom management, and performing other related non-instructional work. Ed Techs may also support students who require additional behavioral supports, positive behavior intervention, or de-escalation.
