Job Description District Wide Occupational Therapist (OT) needed to start the 26/27 School Year Focus on students in grades Preschool, ages 3-5, and middle/high school students. Preschool is located in the high school so minimal travel time is expected. GENERAL SUMMARY: The Occupational Therapist provides services for the purpose of promoting health and wellness in the areas of motor development, sensory development, and visual perception development. The Occupational Therapist will assist the student, and staff, in the design of specialized equipment and the retraining of skills that will enable the student with special needs to function in the classroom. The Occupational Therapist will facilitate and promote optimum independence of the student through adaptive skills and effective functioning in the school environment.
