Job Description Intervention Specialist - Intensive Learning Center This classroom is designed to meet the needs of students with the most complex or significant academic, communication, social/emotional and/or behavioral needs. With the reduced ratio and additional support within this setting, students may spend much of their day in this setting as staff work to support their needs and build their independence. Staff within this learning center should be comfortable working with a wide range of learning challenges, be strong in their understanding and implementation of evidence-based practices, Ohio's extended standards and learning progressions, alternate assessment, and effective planning and instruction for students with significant cognitive disabilities.
