Job Description GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES The Special Education Supervisor provides instructional leadership and supervisory support to schools to ensure the delivery of high-quality, specially designed instruction that enables students with disabilities to access, participate, and make progress in the general curriculum. This role emphasizes collaboration with the Curriculum and Instruction Department, school improvement teams, and other central office departments to strengthen instructional practices, analyze student and program data, and build educator capacity through targeted professional development. The Supervisor supports schools-particularly those identified for improvement-in implementing research-based instructional practices aligned with federal and state requirements and division priorities.
