Job Description Position Title: ESOL Teacher Division/Department: Teaching & Learning Pay Grade: Certified Salary Schedule Pay Type: Salaried-Exempt Retirement: TRS Work Days: 190 Reports To: Principal Evaluation Instrument: TKES MINIMUM QUALIFICATION A valid Georgia Educator Certificate in assigned teaching field as required by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission. Goal: Provide instruction; encourage and assess student achievement and progress; and manage the learning environment effectively. REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance. Provides instruction that is appropriate to the standards of the courses being taught. Provides appropriate instruction in ESOL. Develops, implements, monitors and assesses the English Language Proficiency of each identified ELL and ELL-M student.
