Job Description Primary Funtion: Under the direction of the Campus Police, Chief of Police, the Captain performs a variety of complex, technical, and administrative duties in support of the Police Department. The Administrative Captain serves as an executive advisor to the Chief of Police and is responsible for organizational alignment with the SCCPSS policy and Strategic plan, accountability, and continuity of operations, while maintaining readiness for routine operations, critical incidents, and emergency response within the school district's law enforcement agency. The Administrative Captain is authorized, as delegated or required, to represent the Chief of Police and act on the Chief's behalf in administrative, operational, and executive matters.
