Job Description POSITION OVERVIEW: The Special Education Teacher's primary responsibility is to work in partnership with parents, students and general education teachers in accordance with the district's mission and vision, while maintaining compliance with Federal and State regulations, in order to promote student achievement. Provides direct instruction and instructional support to students with disabilities and work in collaboration with the general education teacher. Assists in the development of Individual Education Programs (IEP).
