Job Description Want to be a lifeguard on a beautiful beach lake this summer? Everwood Day Camp is seeking lifeguards to oversee our waterfronts from the beach, to floating docks, to our inflatable adventure course! You will guard for groups of campers ages 4-15 during their Free Swim periods, and water-based electives (kayaking and paddleboarding). You will be part of a large team of waterfront staff and receive ongoing training and feedback from our Head Lifeguards and Waterfront Directors. The upkeep and basic maintenance of the lakefront beach area and docks is also part of the job. Candidates without a current lifeguard certification will be reimbursed (up to $200) towards lifeguarding certification course through the Red Cross, which can be used for other future jobs. As a Special Event Assistant, you'll help lead games and activities for up to 200 campers and turn special events into unforgettable camp highlights. From helping lead Tug of War in 500 pounds of Jell-o to racing across Lake Massapoag in cardboard box boats - you will support and lead large-scale activities, managing energy, organization, and fun for campers ages 4 to 15.
