Job Description PVPA has an opportunity for a full time Biology Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. We are looking for a reflective practitioner who collaborates effectively with colleagues and understands the varied needs of students in grades 9-12. An ideal candidate is a strong educator well versed in biology curriculum that includes laboratory skills, biochemistry and cell biology, genetics, anatomy and physiology, biodiversity, ecology, and evolution. Students are expected to display their knowledge both individually and through group work in a variety of ways, including written pieces, class activities, homework, assessments, quizzes and tests, and lab work. This course allows students to make a connection between biology in the classroom and biology in the "real world," as well as prepare students for the Biology MCAS test.
