Job Description KITCHEN SUPERVISOR Clearcreek Elementary SUMMARY: Under general direction, manages food service operations in school cafeteria; prepares and serves foods. DUTIES AND PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Manages and supervises operation of school cafeteria and activities of personnel; implements, interprets and enforces kitchen policies and procedures; plans, schedules and assigns work of assistant cooks. 2. Plans daily meal for students and staff (e.g., prepares menu following prescribed nutritional guidelines and standardized recipes, determines quantities of food items needed, determines serving portions, etc.). 3.
