Job Description SPEECH/LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST District SUMMARY : Under general supervision, provides remedial activities for students who exhibit speech and language disorders. Reports to the Director of Special Education. DUTIES/PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Develops and utilizes Individualized Educational Plans to provide instruction to students.Provides speech and language experiences and carry-over activities within the classroom.Collaborates, plans, develops, and provides language enriched lessons based upon classroom teacher input.Confers with classroom teacher(s) and psychologist regarding referred students.Participates as a member of the multi-factored evaluation team.Distributes forms to teachers that are necessary for the referral process.Formulates, schedules and/or participates in an IEP conference with parents, teachers and administrators and assists in developing goals and objectives.Sends permission to evaluate forms to parents...
