Job Description MSAD 6 is seeking a dynamic Special Education Teacher (Resource) to join the instructional staff at our Alternative Education program for the 2026-2027 school year. The successful candidate will provide direct instruction to the students in the class according to their Individualized Educational Program. Applicants for this position must have degree(s) required in major area of study; Maine Department of Education certification with a #282 endorsement; experience related to the instruction of students of similar age and in the subject area(s) to be assigned; demonstrated positive, professional relationships with students and colleagues; and evidence of a strong desire to work with school-age youth.
