Job Description School Nurse (LPN) DEPARTMENT: School Location TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 10 months, 190 days SALARY: Based on Bulloch County Schools salary/supplement schedule FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt REPORTS TO: Principal or designee JOB CODE: 409 POSITION SUMMARY: This position will be responsible for assessing and addressing health needs of students and staff when necessary. The school nurse participates in development of system and school level plans for health services and other areas as needed. This position serves as the resource for health information and as a referral agent for healthcare in the community. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Two year nursing degree from an accredited technical school, college or university. Must hold at least a Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) license in the state of Georgia.
