Job Description CITY OF STAUNTON Equipment Operator I-Park Maintenance The City of Staunton's Park Maintenance Department is seeking an Equipment Operator I to join its team. Successful candidate performs routine semi-skilled work in a variety of maintenance assignments operating motorized equipment in support of the Parks & Recreation Department. Responds to unscheduled emergency work such as storms, ice and snow emergencies. Must possess a general knowledge of the use of common lawn tools and have the ability to operate light and medium lawn equipment. Must the ability to understand and follow oral instructions, perform manual labor for extended periods, work without direct supervision and be able to follow safety policies and procedures.
