Job Description Reports To: Building Administrator Qualifications: Valid Michigan Teacher's Certificate Cognitive Impairment (SA) Teaching Endorsement. Description: Provide a continuum of adapted, integrated, and modified (AIM) specialized instruction to meet the unique needs of students who function in the range of mild cognitive impairment (MiCi). Knowledge of Michigan K-12 and Extended Academic Standards (Essential Elements). Monitor and assesses student achievement and progress on IEP goals and objectives. Develop supplementary aides and supports to specific to the educational and functional needs of each student. Provide functional instruction, while maximizing opportunities for inclusion into general education settings.
